The Palazzi Pontificí is a building that forms part of the Vatican City in Rome. It has been decorated by many artists including Raffaello and Botticelli. Raffaello decorated the main room with the Stanza della segnatura and a side room with the Stanza di Eliodoro. The pope intended to use this room as an audience chamber so Raffaello decorated it accordingly with frescoes emphasizing the power of the Church.
